Haiku for Chi Chi

Learning the drag steps
In a dusty little town,
Win's Catwoman's praise.

This is a dream haiku

I stole all these words.
They'll never know, never miss
what they didn't have.

Saturday haiku

A forest erupts
into imagination,
I make wallpaper.

*This was written after I had seen some beautiful wallpaper which had a lifesize picture of a forest glade on it. I want it for my living room!

Sunny haiku

Yellow gold, the sky
is a bowl with an egg yolk
or a saffron eye.

Night sounds haiku

Night sounds heave and skim,
rattling cans through the swoosh
and blare of slow cars.

crapshitbollockwank

Well, if the week starts out this bad, at least it can only get better!

Here's a getting better haiku:

Sun nudges grey clouds,
Splits the sky into light/dark.
Greys are hurrying.

Haicw Ffôn Symudol

Rhestr galwadau
wedi colli, yn aros
yn y ffôn tawel.

Braille Haiku

Betws Mountain

A thin line of birds
pencil drawn in the dawn sky,
abstracted clouds glow.

The town still sleeping
in the lee of the mountain,
grass prickles wetly.

Yellow light unfolds,
washes the slopes and the hills,
bathes them all gently.

Gorse throws spiky shapes
tumbling over sheep tracks,
dips them in shadow.

The last orange lights
wink out in the town below,
a lone bird circles.

Haiku (Jacqui/me/Lyn)

Two haiku that I made today. Jacqui wrote the first lines, I wrote the second and Lyn wrote the last.

Cloudbanks

Fluffy white, grey dull
Billowing, fluid motion,
Shapes moving in sky.

Gun-shaped

Gun, shiny silver
Bolts of hardened steel alloy
Solid forged in heat.

Simon Vs Andy (Wednesday Haikus)

Mostly Simon

Bananas and plums
Sticky and sweet with sugar
Oranges and pears

Mostly Andy

I have locked the door
With a shotgun in my mouth
Fingering the key
